Barbara Arrowsmith Young was born with severe learning disabilities. Undaunted, she used her few strengths to develop brain exercises to conquer her neurological deficits. She has gone on to change countless lives. Young's work is one of the first examples of the extensive practical application of "neuroplasticity". Here her personal story is interwoven with fascinating accounts of the clinical mysteries and triumphant stories Barbara has encountered during her career. The kind of obstacles and challenges which Barbara faced and overcame is an inspiration and I am sure that her teaching platform would benefit others with challenges.
As for her book however it is a disappointment as it reads more like an informercial
of a long string of testimonials.

Inspirational work of how many people, including the author, were able to overcome severe learning disabilities using techniques to train the brain now utilized in Arrowsmith schools.
