When Sadie comes back home to help care for her grandparents - she doesn't expect to find out that the brother of the man who caused her to leave is helping to look after her grandparents. She was raped by Cole's brother.... At first Sadie is afraid of Cole because he looks a lot like his brother. Soon she finds that he is nothing like his brother and is a kind, caring man. He soon recognizes that he is beginning to have feelings for Sadie but he resists them because Sadie has made it clear that she doesn't like him. In an attempt to help her realize that he is not his brother, he shaves off his beard and cuts his long hair off. Due to kindness towards her grandparents, Sadie soon finds herself also developing feelings for Cole. This is such a good book. I think it goes well from Sadie being afraid to her slowly overcoming her fear. I really enjoyed this book and read it in about 2 hours.
