A stunning novel about the transformative power of love, perfect for fans of 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher.

Sixteen-year-old physics nerd Aysel is obsessed with plotting her own death. With a mother who can barely look at her without wincing, classmates who whisper behind her back, and a father whose violent crime rocked her small town, Aysel is ready to turn her potential energy into nothingness.

There's only one problem: she's not sure she has the courage to do it alone. But once she discovers a website with a section called Suicide Partners, Aysel's convinced she's found her solution--Roman, a teenage boy who's haunted by a family tragedy, is looking for a partner.

Even though Aysel and Roman have nothing in common, they slowly start to fill in each other's broken lives. But as their suicide pact becomes more concrete, Aysel begins to question whether she really wants to go through with it. Ultimately, she must choose between wanting to die or trying to convince Roman to live so they can discover the potential of their energy together.

A pretty good story! Slightly predictable, but very fast paced and an easy read.

I really liked this, I'm not quite sure why, but I did.

Beautifully written. I was not expecting this quality of a story as well as philosophies on life hidden in a teen book.

*tears* So many tears. This book is devastating in its honesty about suicide. Remember: don't choose a permanent solution for a temporary problem.

Definitely a mature read due to fact that it focus on the two main characters planning their suicide together. Told over 26 days this book is all about Aysel meeting Roman who becomes her suicide partner and together they plan their death. Over the 26 days they get to know each other, Family life, secrets and the reasons why they want to die. But then things between them change leaving them second guessing if suicide is really the answer. Rating 3.5 out of 5 stars. - @Fallenangelhushhush of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

This was a heartfelt book which I thoroughly enjoyed. I loved the author's writing style, and her descriptions of depression were very well done. Including references to physics and questions was a great way to make the book more interesting- they also helped make the reader think. I highly recommend this book.

I loved the simplicity and yet the intensity of the subject. Its sad to see how much our youth suffer and they feel that death is the only way out. My heart goes out to all those who are experiencing similar feelings like Aysel and Roman experienced. There is always a way out, very powerful message!

This book is my favorite. Aysel is a depressed teen who is ready to suicide. But when FrozenRobot starts giving reasons to live to Aysel she starts having second thoughts. Best book ever!

There are a lot of books coming out about this topic with a romance involved, but I think this one was well-done. The characters were believable.
