I’ve read a few Jack Taylor novels and this is the first one where I’m starting to kinda connect with the guy. At least to know how he ticks. Tough guy, tough book, hard to follow. But in the book we start to see some “humanity” in him, even with the alcohol and the drugs. Good book. Taylor lives in a world so frightening, I don’t want to go there. Reading about him is a safe alternative.
