Jeff Abbott has a talent for the hook and twist. The first two books in this series moved swiftly, and kept me guessing. This novel continues with a fast pace and interesting storyline about spy/bar owner Sam Capra. Abbot has a talent for series writing, he references plot points from the previous story, but it’s not necessary to have read the previous titles in order to enjoy this novel. Capra is an endearing character who has continued to grow into his new life. His willingness to help a stranger in this story shows his heroism, and his ability to sort out who’s after her and why adds plenty of suspense. His relationships are integral to the plot, but never overshadow the page-turning action and intrigue. Abbott keeps you guessing and adds many surprises along the way. Highly recommended for fans of Robert Ludlum’s Bourne series and fans of Harlan Coben thrillers.
