The kids are growing and Nana's getting older. Then again so is Alex Cross (and the rest of us). In Patterson's 12th Cross novel, Alex makes another career move, hanging out his psychologist's shingle. But he can't sit still; a series of brutal rapes and murders puts Cross (teamed with former partner John Sampson) on the trail of a former hit man turned serial killer. Through a connection with his wife Marie's death, we learn more about Cross' past and about his wife. Another fast-paced, exciting book from James Patterson.
