A classic tale of childhood wonder, 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' is a wonderful story about a young girl's perspective of life and logic. Leaving much to the imagination, yet provoking just as much thought, this story shows that children grow up in their own ways. Alice comes out of her 'dream' with the wish that things were normal again, while at the beginning she wanted things to be different. I believe that this is a point that all must grow up, but it also proves that things move along in their own way. You can definitely tell that this was written in a different era, and children, and some adults, might have trouble with the wording of the sentences and some of the more obscure ones that have fallen out of use, but if you can get past that, it's a charming book that will spark the imagination of any who read it. I would suggest that any who love a good adventure and those who want to recapture their childhood wonder should read this work.
